Hi Veronica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
The next chapter of my story started just a few years ago after some significant changes in my life. It encouraged me to rethink my future, enabling me to choose a path that was just right for me! Selling my portion of my property management and Real Estate business, I decided to use my business acumen, love of interacting with people (and yes, my love of HGTV!) to launch CLOZETIVITY.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a new venture is just plain scary! Especially on your own as a single mom! Being a mom is my #1 in life, so to start a business, I had to assure I could juggle both, that both my kids and my customers were well-cared for. I bet on myself and took a risk. I want to teach my children to learn to take risks, put yourself out there, and trust the process. Challenges are always to be expected with any new business, especially one that was started in the wake of Covid! Production time has been a struggle at times, as anyone building a home or doing renovations knows all too well. I had not done a business in which I had to supply a product before, so naturally, there was a learning curve. These “curves” have definitely challenged me but ultimately make me grow as a business owner and as a designer.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?

Clozetivity is different from other closet companies in that customer service is truly our top priority! We offer appointments typically within a week and work with you until your design is exactly how you want it. We provide a 3-D rendering of your new space while providing a preliminary quote either online (Something unique only to Clozetivity!) or during a free In-Home consultation, whichever they initially prefer! If your budget aligns with the online quote, we come out and get exact measurements and design the space with you (if you prefer) or via email to exactly how you want it to be.
