Today we’d like to introduce you to Yhonnathan Roca.
Hi Yhonnathan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
6 years ago, we arrived in the city of Miami; I already did photography and video; however, it took me 4 years to be able to live one hundred percent of my passion in life, which is to take photographs and videos. I studied Social Communication, a profession closely linked to what I currently do; it was the beginning of everything. I bought my first camera as a hobby in 2007, and after that, I started doing dating sessions for close people; during all this time, I specialized in Photography and Video, both Commercial and Social.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At first, I managed to do only one or two photographic jobs a month, but I understood my purpose, and I knew that it was a long way to have the necessary clients and be able to live from this, however during these 6 years, I kept insisting and giving my best talent to achieve my goals, which I continue to improve and the idea is to continue fighting to highlight my work.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a commercial and social photographer and videographer. Clients usually not only like my work but also compliment me on the quality of service and the speed with which I usually deliver projects.
One of my goals was to have a photograph in Times Square, NY which I achieved in a short time; it was a couple of photographs taken for a movie theater company nationwide.
Something that can differentiate me from other photographers, without a doubt, is the speed of delivery of the projects and the service that I provide.
