My journey into real estate started with a deeply personal motivation—family. Before I became a Realtor, I was a wife, and a mother, always looking for a way to balance my career ambitions with being present for my loved ones.
When my daughter was young, I worked nonstop and missed out on so many important moments. I didn’t have the flexibility to be there for her the way I wanted to be, and that weighed on me. By the time my youngest son was born, I knew I wanted a different path—one that allowed me to be more present. He was just 2.5 years old when I took a leap into real estate. I saw it as an opportunity to build something meaningful for our future while also being there for my family in a way I couldn’t before.
In 2004, I started as a real estate investor, focusing on short sales and foreclosures. Two years later, I earned my real estate license, and that’s when I truly found my calling—helping sellers navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Over the years, I developed a specialty in working with homeowners whose properties had failed to sell the first time. I saw the frustration sellers faced when their homes sat on the market, and I became obsessed with creating marketing strategies that actually worked.
I’ve always believed that to be the best, you have to invest in yourself. That’s why I’ve dedicated thousands of dollars to working with one of the top real estate coaches in the industry. I’ve been there myself.
Ironically, I became my own client when I sold my home in New York to move to Florida. I had to time everything perfectly—I was building a new construction home, and I needed to sell my current house without any delays. I knew that even the smallest details could impact how quickly my home would sell and at what price. So, I took my own advice: I decluttered, staged, and marketed the home aggressively. The results? 43 offers in one weekend and a sale that closed way over asking. Not only did I sell for top dollar, but I also set a new precedent for home values in my neighborhood. My sale raised the bar for future listings, proving that the right strategy can redefine market expectations. The entire experience reinforced everything I tell my clients—presentation, strategy, and negotiation make all the difference.
Moving my business to Florida wasn’t easy. I had to rebuild my brand, establish connections, and learn the nuances of a new market. But my passion for helping sellers hasn’t changed. Today, I focus on using cutting-edge digital marketing, strategic pricing, and my deep negotiation expertise to help Florida homeowners get top dollar for their properties.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! And honestly, I wouldn’t expect it to be. Any path worth taking is filled with challenges, and real estate has been no exception.
When I first started in real estate, I had to learn everything from the ground up while balancing motherhood. My youngest son was just 2.5 years old, and I was determined to build a career that allowed me to be present for my family. But real estate is anything but predictable, and in those early years, I had to work tirelessly to establish myself, learning the hard way that success doesn’t come overnight.
One of the biggest struggles came when the market crashed in 2008. I had just started gaining traction in my career, and suddenly, everything changed. I had to pivot quickly, shifting my focus to helping distressed homeowners navigate short sales and foreclosures. It was a tough time for so many families, and I saw firsthand how important it was to have an agent who truly understood the market. That experience taught me how to adapt, think outside the box, and fight for my clients no matter how tough the market gets.
Then, after 18 years of growing my business in New York, I faced another major challenge—starting over in Florida. Moving to Orlando was a personal and family-driven decision, but it also meant rebuilding my business from scratch. In New York, I was well-established—I had referrals, a strong reputation, and years of experience that spoke for itself. But in Florida, no one knew me. I had to prove myself all over again, find ways to stand out in a competitive market, and build my name from the ground up.
Instead of letting that discourage me, I doubled down on what I do best—marketing, networking, and providing value. I invested in coaching, studied the Florida market extensively, and leveraged digital strategies to position myself as the go-to listing expert in my new community. Slowly but surely, I began seeing results.
Every struggle I’ve faced has reinforced my belief that persistence, adaptability, and continuous learning are the keys to success. It’s never been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The challenges have made me stronger, more innovative, and more determined to help my clients achieve their goals, no matter the market conditions.
