Daily Inspiration: Meet Alexandria Lindeman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandria Lindeman.

Hi Alexandria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started pet sitting as a hobby when I was pregnant to get me out of the house and doing something I was passionate about which was spending time with animals. As a pet owner myself I wanted to present customers with an opportunity to travel without having to worry about the care being provided to their beloved fur babies back home while they were away. I started off with just a handful of clients and when we moved from Casselberry to where we now live in Ocoee I was able to build more clients through social media and word of mouth and with the help of previous client reviews I had received.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. Each year comes with new challenges. As a new business owner, trying to find that happy median between remaining affordable for my loyal clients as well as being compensated for the work was a challenge to get to. Setting boundaries with clients is always an ongoing challenge but with clear guidelines, expectations and great communication I have been able to easily overcome that challenge. Exploring new opportunities and services to provide to keep clients coming back. With pet sitting, animals can be unpredictable and making sure we got to know the pet prior to the sitting and completing meet and greets to make sure everyone was a good fit for each other with limited time.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Pet sitting business
I am most proud of the trust and bond that I have built with my clients and their pets. We treat each pet like our own and they are part of the family. Our clients who have been with us since the beginning have watched our little family grow over the years and their support is a true testimony of the service we provide

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
We love donating items to pet rescues. Our clients frequently donate blankets, dog beds, bowl, and toys that we can donate to rescues or help with the pets we care for as well
