Hi Alicia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I start creating content years ago, when I noticed the big potential on social media, I was always passionate on the idea of being my own boss, the opportunity to share what I like in my way and with my own terms.
So I started doing videos about what at that moment I thought was my passion until I realized I didn’t enjoy it, so I tried with different niches to see which one identified me.
From the beginning I always knew my passion was on travel the world, I was so good finding places, vacation on a budget, I was always the travel planner for each of our family vacations and that was what I always want to do and share on my social media accounts, but at that moment I didn’t travel much so I thought I had nothing to share about it,
Years later on and off, tired of try with different niches with no results, I decided to start doing what I have been always passionate about, Travel!!
I realize I can share my travels but also the places in my town, because my city is a vacation please for others and even for the people living in the same city, they can know about places to go and enjoy. And Orlando has so many things to do that I love to share it!
So with no more excuses, I started to take it seriously with a couple of videos on TikTok with no results at the beginning, but I keep trying until my 25th video, a video where I was so passionate, I was so so happy with the results, I felt that video could help so many people to plan their vacations and that feels great. I was so happy with that video that I even don’t care about the views.
surprisingly That video goes viral! When I just noticed I had 5k views I remember I feel so happy and grateful and about 8 hours later my video has over 1 million views, I was in shock and the video keep going until reach a total of 6.1 million views!!
That showed me that when you do something with passion and that can help others, that energy synchronizes with the universe and everything starts to flow.
From that moment till now my life changed completely, my videos now has great views with a very good engagement, I not only got followers I got an amazing community that believes in me and my recommendation and that means the world to me. I also started working with brands and I have so many projects, like working on a blog where I can share more details about the trips and an affordable course where I will teach how to grow in social media for the ones who would like to make this as a living. All that makes me very happy and grateful.
My goal is to inspire everyone to travel, show them that travel doesn’t have to be so expensive as many people think. Show them that is possible to travel with any budget. And show them places the even may not know exists.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Uff so many, but maybe not an obstacle, I would call it challenges and excuses.
I always worked so many hours a week, so I felt I didn’t have enough time or energy to do anything else, even though I always tried to make time to do what I love but on and off until I just give up for a long time and then I started over.
Like I said before I always had an excuse to not focus on what really passions me, because I don’t travel that much, I don’t have to much time to go out and so on.
I didn’t have the money to travel or go out often so that was a big challenge to be able to do what I wanted it.
I did not have the knowledge that I have today about social networks and that make me makes several mistakes along the way.
This is not like a college degree, nobody really teach you how the social media really works.
You’re on your own so you have to figure out everything, you have to work several hours and stay motivated.
Now the challenges are different, is making time to do everything be yourself, always thinking on what to do next, because my content is about travel, I have to also think about the whole travel itinerary to make content, negotiate with brands and so on.
And it will be always like that with challenges a long the way, the important thing is to keep going and really love what you do so that challenges will mean nothing for you.

I’m a travel blogger, my work is to make content on different social media like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
I specialized in travel, I like to share my experience in different countries and places, make the best recommendation as possible and most of my travel recommendations are affordable places.
The difference of my content with others is that my main focus is to share a great vacation in a budget, to make travel possible for everyone.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I think the biggest risk I take doing content for social media is making myself exposed in front of millions of people, to be judged and receive bad comments.
It was hard at the beginning to get bad comments but that doesn’t define me and thank god is much more the good comments about how I help so many people and that’s what really matters.
