Daily Inspiration: Meet Alyssa Gama-Morales

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Gama-Morales.

Hi Alyssa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in the Boogie Down Bronx, NYC! The Arts and culture has been all around me from birth! I went to an art school for high school where I first picked up a camera in a video editing class! I loved making videos and would make videos for school projects, events, and for fun throughout high school and college. Fast forward to 2020, I had moved to Orlando, FL and the pandemic was in full swing. I decided to make a business out of my passion and started learning more about the photography world! Now in 2025, I’ve been blessed with videoing and the photographing celebrations, family portraits and business promotions throughout central Florida!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Currently, all of my clients have been through word of mouth and my business is not my main income, so I haven’t had to deal with many struggles. Once I start doing more to promote my business and possibly make it a main income, then I feel like I will have more obstacles to overcome.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in photography and videography services specifically for personal, business and celebratory purposes. I am most proud of working with small businesses and people from marginalized communities especially the BIPOC & LGBTIA+ communities.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice for those just starting out is to never forget the joy of creating. Understand that humans may need accommodations and direction. Also, you never stop being a student. Make sure you are continuously building on your craft!
