Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Stewart.

Hi Amy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was working in operations at a residential lender in Denver, CO knowing I wanted to move over the sales side of the business. When I moved to Florida in early 2020, I found a position at DLP Capital and have since been promoted twice which led me to my current position as a Senior Funding Specialist.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I believe that anything worth achieving is not easy!! I am grateful for my foundation of knowledge in the residential lending space, but switching over to a private money lender for real estate investors was a steep learning curve at times with unforgiving timelines. This is also something that I love about the industry, there are never any “slow” days.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I help real estate investors scale their businesses aggressively by specializing in Line of Credit Memberships, Fix and Flip Loans, New Construction Loans, Multi-Family Bridge Loans, and Rental Portfolio Loans. Watching some of my clients more than double their business in less than a 12-month span is what I find the most gratifying. What sets DLP Capital apart from other lenders in our space is that we are relationship-based with a goal of transforming an individual’s operation beyond their own expectations. We hold mastermind events 3-4 times a year where we are able to have face-to-face time with all of our clients and provide them with extraordinary knowledge and networking opportunities.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Some might view my decision to pack up and leave Colorado with my then 1-year-old daughter at the beginning of the pandemic to move to Florida without a job or living situation lined up as a risk. As risky as that may sound, I had a strong feeling that all of the changes would be positive ones which, fortunately, everything has exceeded my wildest expectations. I am a firm believer that living in fear and complacency is the beginning of the end.
