Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Hendrickson.
Hi Angie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I actually stumbled into the floral industry in the Summer of 2002 and have been designing flowers ever since.! I’ve had the oppurtunity to work with some of the best in the industry in my 19 years, who have taught me so much! We owned a full-service flower shop in Houston, TX, for many years and then moved to Florida in 2017. I now live in the Casselberry area and specialize in Wedding Flowers; working with some of the best venues in the industry. As a preferred vendor, we have made a name for ourselves here in Central Florida, in just under three years! We successfully executed 51 events last year in a Pandemic! The relationships we have built with the amazing Vendors here we do busines with, is what has kept us all busy! So much of our business and clientel is word of mouth! We also won the Title for Wedding Wire’s Couples Choice Award for 2020 & 2021. So excited for what’s ahead!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Moving my company I had for 15 years in Houston to Orlando was a total leap of Faith! As a small business owner and an individual responsible for all aspects of the business, it definitely takes time and effort to connect and meet the right people and clients to build your business, but GOD is SO GOOD and he has continued to bless me and set my business up for success. I am so grateful for the opportunity to do wedding flowers and make relationships with my “Friend-ors” and Clients here in Central Florida!
