Today we’d like to introduce you to Aryanne Smith.
Hi Aryanne, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. I came to Florida for college in 2013. I got my degree in Business Administration in May of 2019. Throughout college, it was a struggle financially because I was an out-of-state student. But with God, I had a vision and I completed it and I am now a degreed woman.
How I got into fashion, I’ve always been my own person and I’ve always been a fashionista. So, I decided to start my own online clothing boutique. I, one day, want to create my own designs and have celebrities in my designs so I brought a sewing machine and I have been practicing frequently to perfect my craft.
I also want to have my own store one day.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all, it was not easy. The way I grew up I wasn’t poor but I wasn’t privileged either. I’ve experienced a lot but it shaped me to be the person I am today. I wouldn’t change my experiences for anything in the world.
But now, I am determined to create the life I want for myself that’s why I am a hard worker today.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Right now, I am in my career field finally. Again, I’m a hard worker with whatever I do and after being at my place of employment I have been offered a promotion. Because I catch on so quickly, I was given the opportunity to do something I’ve never done before and now this is going to be my permanent position, only after 5 months of being with the company.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I wouldn’t say luck. I would say, God! He has been amazing to me from being a child until now. I would’ve never thought I would be in the positions I’m in today but because of God and my hard work I have so many different things coming up in the near future that I’m excited about.
