Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Boehm.
Hi Bill, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was a graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in the early ’80s. I graduated with a degree in Advertising Design. I worked as a graphic designer for many years in several different cities on the east coast.
In the last 10 years, I have improved my photography skills and have begun to sell more prints and photographs. I have sold the photos on a variety of products through different vendors who print on product.
In the last 5 years, I have begun to refine my photography skills to include fine art photography. I have also just recently begun to create travel books for sale on Amazon.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The progression of my skills grew as I had more time to learn. I learned quite a bit during the last 2 years of COVID. I used YouTube’s creative content to learn more about image processing in color and black and white.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in art to product creation and design. This includes illustration and photography. I am currently working on getting my photos in an online gallery setting. Because of my publishing background in book and magazine publishing, I am now creating more travel books for purchase online.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
As I mentioned before it has been an opportunity to learn more as I have been at home.
