Blake Givargidze

Hi Blake, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been passionate about drumming since I was three years old. I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a successful career as a touring musician, playing across the globe and throughout the United States.

Recently, I embarked on a new educational journey at Full Sail University, which is known for nurturing talents in film and music among industry leaders. I’m thrilled about this new chapter and eager to develop my skills further and explore exciting opportunities ahead.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story. Has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The road ahead in my career path may often seem uncertain. However, with my outgoing personality and strong networking capabilities, I am confident in forging meaningful friendships during my time at Full Sail University.

These friendships will undoubtedly create opportunities that are essential in this industry. In my experience, building relationships leads to valuable opportunities, and those opportunities, in turn, foster new friendships—a cycle that propels success in both personal and professional endeavors.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Since our last conversation, I’ve immersed myself deeply in the backend of music and film, focusing particularly on producing, mixing, mastering, and postproduction for film. My passion lies predominantly in mixing and mastering, although I also find great enjoyment in exploring the diverse offerings of the film industry.

I’ve built a reputation for my skills in producing/beat making and my expertise in mixing and mastering across a wide range of genres. One of my proudest achievements is my ability to seamlessly transition between working on music and film projects. It’s a testament to my versatility and dedication to both crafts.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Orlando is undeniably a beautiful city, with its diverse attractions appealing to people from all walks of life. While the theme parks are a standout feature for many, personally, they aren’t quite my scene.

However, what draws me away from Orlando is the limited opportunities in my career field. Frankly, there’s little here that aligns with my aspirations. Understandably, major cities like New York or Los Angeles offer the kind of professional landscape I’m eager to explore and thrive in.

In fact, I’m excited about pursuing opportunities in New York—it’s where I believe I can truly carve out my path and excel in my chosen field.
