Hi Francia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello, my name is Francia Lopez, the founder of Bouncy Bliss Playzone. Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of being a mother and an event planner, and I can honestly say that in a way, those dreams have come true. I’ve always loved planning family events—birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. But when my first baby was born, that passion grew even more. I started noticing something at every family event we attended, even children’s birthday parties: the attention and fun were always focused on the older kids.
When my second baby arrived, my desire to have my own business grew stronger, though I was also filled with fear due to the many responsibilities I had—two kids, a full-time job, and everything else. But with my husband’s support and the inspiration from my journey into motherhood, I decided to take the leap and create Bouncy Bliss Playzone.
At Bouncy Bliss, we focus on the fun of all children, but especially the little ones. We have soft play areas, a safe space where younger children can play while giving moms a break to enjoy the event without worry. In addition, we offer a crafting area and a coloring wall station to entertain the kids and spark their creativity.
Today, I can honestly say that I have everything I dreamed of: my family, my business, and the joy of combining both.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
With any project you care deeply about, there are always obstacles. For me, the biggest challenge has been connecting with communities of moms and building awareness around what Bouncy Bliss offers. Additionally, balancing my time between being a mom to two children under 5, working a full-time 9-5 job, and managing my own business has been a significant challenge.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the moment, my professional life is divided into two areas. I’m proud to work in the healthcare field, where I’ve been working remotely full-time for a few years now. In addition, I run Bouncy Bliss Playzone, where we focus on creating safe and fun spaces for young children, with our soft play areas, bounce houses, crafting stations, and coloring wall station. Everything we offer at Bouncy Bliss is designed with love and care because, as a mom, I know how important it is to create the dream event while also ensuring the safety and well-being of our little ones. I truly love what I do, especially knowing how much joy it brings to families.
What sets me apart is my ability to balance both my professional career and my passion for creating a unique experience for kids. I understand the importance of safe, engaging environments, and I’m committed to providing a space where children can be active and creative while parents feel confident about their safety. My background in healthcare also gives me a unique perspective on child development and safety, which I bring to every aspect of Bouncy Bliss Playzone.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory is the holidays, when we would celebrate as a family with food, gifts, and the special time spent together. I also remember how we would all decorate our home to get ready for Christmas.It was always a time full of love and joy.
