Hi Cameron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a California native who moved to Florida at 17, carrying little more than a dream and a deep love for photography. I spent years learning and growing while working at studios like portrait innovations and picture people. Where I honed not just my skills but my passion for capturing real, meaningful moments. After working for a countless studios I took a leap of faith and started my own journey as an independent photographer. Over the Past 5 years I’ve built a career doing what I love most. Along the way my work has been featured in spaces like the Orlando Science Center and the Kissimmee City Hall, a reminder that when you trust your passion incredible things can happen.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth way. Has meant facing health challenges and sometimes made it hard to keep up with the fast pace of the photography world. On top of that I became a mother at a young age and balancing my passion for photography with raising a family wasn’t always easy. There were moments when I had to put my dreams on hold to focus on my health and my children. Despite everything I kept pushing forward, even going back to school later in life to continue building a better future for myself and my family. Every struggle has shaped who I am today and made every success that much more meaningful and proud of how far I’ve come and even more excited for what’s still ahead
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a portrait and lifestyle photographer, specializing in capturing real, candid moments… the kind that tell a story without needing words. My work focuses on everything from family portraits to graduations, milestones and community events. What I’m most proud of is creating an experience where people feel truly seen, celebrated and comfortable in front of the camera.
What sets me apart is the way I connect with people. Having faced my own challenges, I understand how important it is to freeze time… to honor a moment for exactly what it is. My clients aren’t just posing for photos they’re trusting me with their memories they’ll hold onto forever. I bring a mix of professional experience, personal warmth and a deep love for storytelling that makes each session unique. Every session is a chance to create something real and lasting.
How do you define success?
To me, success isn’t just about Awards, recognition, or even financial growth – It’s about impact. It’s knowing that the work I do leaves people with something they’ll cherish for a lifetime. Success is being able to live my passion, provide for my family, overcome the obstacles life has put in my way, and still wake up excited for what’s next. It’s also about growth… not just professionally but personally. Becoming stronger, more compassionate, and more resilient with each step of the journey. If I can look back and see that I stayed true to myself, touch lives, and kept moving forward no matter what, that’s true success to me.
