Hello, my name is Charles Baines, and I am a former professional basketball player who has successfully transitioned into entrepreneurship and acting/modeling. Additionally, I am the proud owner of Work by Faith, a clothing brand that serves as a testament to my life’s story and the guiding influence of my faith.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Hailing from a small town, I’ve bravely conquered numerous obstacles, consistently drawing upon my unwavering faith in determination to triumph over them. I’m deeply aware that my humble background, where achieving success is a rarity, has presented formidable challenges. Yet, I’ve skillfully harnessed these experiences to fuel my progress. In the realm of basketball, being cut from my seventh-grade team was an initial setback. Nevertheless, I persevered, starting in high school, although I couldn’t participate in my senior year. Ultimately, I attended college and played professional basketball, exemplifying the transformative impact of unwavering perseverance.

As a professional basketball player and actor from a small town, I am recognized for my faith and determination to pursue my dreams and live with purpose. I am grateful and most proud to be featured on television, and my ultimate aspiration is to appear in a Super Bowl commercial one day.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
So I have taken courageous risks that nobody understood in my family. They thought I was kind of crazy, but yet I had a vision. I had a dream to succeed more and to be more, but yet to whom much is given, much more is required and I understood that I would have to go without an order for my dream to become a reality.
