Daily Inspiration: Meet Chloe Carpenter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Carpenter

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I originally grew up in Michigan. I moved down to Florida when I was 18 after graduating high school. I attended college for the next four years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree, I decided it was time to take my hobbies to the next level. Throughout college, I dabbled in social media here and there and spent some time doing it for fun. But, after college, I chose to take it one step further and create a business for it. It’s still brand new and I’m still learning more every day since social media is ever-changing. However, I can now call myself a social media coordinator with a list of new clients up her sleeve. I also partnered with a website developer and now help develop websites and website applications, another amazing service.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Business never is! Again, social media algorithms are ever changing and so a coordinator has to evolve with them. Beyond that, every client is so different. I do my best to adhere to each client’s preference and goals. I only work with clients whose brand resonates with me in a powerful or passionate way.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Social media is my niche but writing is my second. In my free time, I have always been a writer. I remember being in school when I was young constantly writing poems and short stories. I carried that through high school. Mt best friend could tell you about a hundred I made her read my senior year. It used to be a dream to one day public a book of all of my short poems. Now it is more of a creative outlet to decompress at the end of a long week.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Haven’t we all? One thing I learned is apparently we have to tell people how to wash their hands, which is beyond me. But, most importantly, for me, was being away from family. Being from a different state, up north, I have my sisters and my niece and nephew. One of the hardest years of my life was in 2020, staying away from the family I was used to seeing so often one short plane ride away. It gave me a lot of insight into my priorities moving forward. I will always want to be closer to my family.
