Cristie Vincent, a graduate of the University of Central Florida’s School of Education, initially embarked on a career path in teaching. However, a deep-seated passion for family and entrepreneurship eventually led her down a different road. Having always felt a calling to work alongside her parents in their family business, Cristie dedicated many years to learning the ropes and contributing to its success. The bond of family and the satisfaction of working together fueled her dedication. After her parents sold their business, Cristie yearned to start a business. The timing could have been better, but it wasn’t, as young children were heavily involved in school and community activities, which needed improvement. It wasn’t until recently that the opportunity to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams presented itself. Blessed with the ability to invest in a franchise, Cristie, alongside her husband and daughter, embarked on a new chapter in her life. For Cristie, this venture isn’t just about business; it’s about spreading joy and creating connections within the community. As a lover of people and a proud member of the Oviedo community, she finds fulfillment in making people smile, one gourmet cookie at a time. Today, Cristie dreams of owning a business centered around something she loves: making people happy with delicious gourmet cookies. She couldn’t be happier to be a part of the vibrant and welcoming community of Oviedo, where she looks forward to sharing sweetness and building relationships for years to come.
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been mostly smooth sailing, although there have been moments when I doubted if my dream of owning a business would ever materialize, mainly due to the challenges of securing the necessary time and finances to kickstart it.

I take pride in my multifaceted roles and commitments. From nurturing our future generation as an educator to supporting my parent’s business endeavors and, most importantly, ensuring the well-being of my family, every part of my life is led with dedication and purpose. My distinctiveness lies in my determination and passion. As I venture into entrepreneurship, I’m excited to further my experiences and look forward to joyfully serving the Oviedo community.
What matters most to you? Why?
First, my faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has blessed me, and I’m so thankful. Of course, my husband, Keith, and two children, Abigail and Jared. They have always surrounded me with love and support. My husband has always been the hardest worker and supported me in my favorite role of being a stay-at-home mom with my children. Now that my children are both in their twenties, he’s supporting me again and helping to make my entrepreneurial dreams come true.
