
Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Pena.
Hi Cynthia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a 32 year old stay at home mother & caterer. Born and raised in Harlem, New York. My mom was a baker for 39 plus years. She was a single mom of three. I never saw food as my thing & it wasn’t until I met my significant other that I developed a passion for cooking. I started growing an interest in food when I would try to impress him with a meal with the little knowledge I had at the time. As the years passed, I started getting more and more good at cooking. But it wasn’t until a year ago that I took the leap of faith and became consistent with my desire to cater to people and show my talent to people. Runwaycuisine is what I go by on social media (Instagram) it’s my portfolio to a very delicious journey in which I’m very thankful & pleased with the love & support everyone gives me.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
– Not being able to full fill all the orders coming my way.
– Customer’s expectations.
– Competition.
– It’s a physically demanding job.
– Team no sleep
