Hi Davinia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Ultimately, my family inspired my start of business! We have such a big family, a birthday or event was celebrated almost 1-2 times a month. More importantly, in addition to my children. My nieces and nephews, I treat just as if they are my own children. So decorating their parties was just as important to me. That is what inspired my desire and love to design events. I had nothing when I started my business. I remember having $100 and using that to buy supplies to make displays in my living room.
It was a task coming up with a name for my business, but it came to me! I started from nothing, my clients were my family. To now own a profitable business where my clients range across central Florida. 360 Parties made so much sense to me. Being able to transition nothing into something amazing was my purpose. I wasn’t able to have parties when I was growing up like people have parties today. And it drives me each and every time especially when I see my client’s reactions to continue as I feel this was made to be my purpose!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road! Once I started my business, Covid happened. And that affected a lot of businesses and making money. There is an event community that I am a part of where we collaborate on ideas on a regular basis.
It helped me to be able to pivot my approach during the pandemic to still help people be able to celebrate events while social distancing by dropping off event supplies in a bag at their doors or set up in their yards.

Being a Full-time Sales manager of one of the top wireless companies for over 20 years has impacted my ability to run my business full-time.
Recently they’ve communicated layoffs and that I was a part of the group that was being laid off. My life immediately shifted and drove me to yet again pivot my approach toward more success.
