Daily Inspiration: Meet Emma Ximena Samardge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emma Ximena Samardge.

Hi Emma Ximena, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in Bogota, Colombia and thanks to my incredible parents, I had the opportunity to move to Boston, MA in 1999 to learn English and finish my Bachelor’s degree. In 2003, after numerous challenges as a new English speaker, I graduated with a Business Administration degree from Suffolk University with a major in Marketing. Those four critical years of my life studying abroad provided me with a different perspective of the world where I learned the importance of relationships and networking.

I moved back to Colombia in 2003 where I began my career as a marketing and sales professional, which contributed to my future career in Real Estate.

In 2012, my second life-changing event occurred when I met my amazing husband in Islamorada, Florida during my best friend’s wedding. After only a few months, I moved back to the USA and got married. Our crazy love story brought me to Orlando, The City Beautiful, a place I never imagined I could end up living! This City has always brought smiles to people’s faces; especially mine, since I am such a big Disney fan!

In 2014, I challenged myself again and got my Real Estate License. Since then, I have been dedicated full time, helping Buyers and Sellers accomplish their goals throughout Central Florida.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been easy, especially during the first few years as a new Realtor. Real Estate can be a very tough and competitive field and you need to stand out from the rest of the crowd by providing the highest quality customer service coupled with respect, honesty, tenacity, and professionalism. However, establishing myself as a successful foreign professional in this country has been such a blessing and provides me with immense pride. I find that I need to work harder than most, knowing that I will sacrifice “fun days off” in an effort to be successful. Also, knowing that I am making a difference in each transaction for my colleagues and clients has been the key! It’s all about focusing on others, not myself.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Real Estate Agent in Central Florida and have been helping Buyers, Sellers, and Investors for the past seven years. Today, I can proudly say that I have an amazing network and an incredible portfolio of clients who keep referring me business. The most satisfying outcome from each transaction is that I can call every single client a friend. This is where I provide the greatest value; I build relationships for life and I always fight for what is best for my clients. As a bonus for me, I absolutely love the marketing/branding process so my properties are always being spotted on social media platforms in a very professional and fun way. I also have the best tech tools and support from my Company, Mainframe Real Estate, to be the most effective Realtor for my clients.

There is a lot of work I do behind the scenes to help my Clients during the buying and/or selling process. In many cases, real estate transactions are very stressful for them because of the emotions that are involved and also because a real estate transaction might be the single largest transaction of their lives. A very real part of my job is being an advisor for my clients while keeping them calm and focused on the goal.

I love helping my Buyers to buy smart while always thinking about resale value. And, when working with my Sellers, I will consult with them on staging their home to get top dollar, but have also routinely played the role of project manager for my investors. These are just a couple of ways I go above and beyond in a transaction.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Being the best version of myself in my personal and professional life. I am a very social person and I always want to be the best version of myself around my family, friends, and clients. The most gratifying feeling is knowing that each person I have worked with is 100% certain of my loyalty to them while knowing they can always count on me with whatever they may need. My relationships are extremely important to me and I believe that your life is built with the memories you make with the people you choose to share your time with. In that same way, I am building my career and my business with integrity, honesty, persistence, and always making a positive impact on other’s lives.
