Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Schwalback.
Hi Faith, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Faith was raised by a single mother and experienced homelessness early in life – she was a latchkey kid until the age of eight and often saw her mother through the lens of what was missing. Yet, as life unfolded, she became Beverly’s caregiver, witnessing her mother’s battle with dementia and untreatable mental health issues. It was in these tender moments, just days before Beverly’s passing, that a dear friend helped Faith see her mother’s true essence. Beverly was talented, caring, and did the best she could with the limited resources she had—both emotionally and medically.
In those final days, Faith gave her mother a renewed sense of purpose, allowing Beverly to pass with peace. This profound realization led to the birth of Beverly’s Angels in 2018, an organization dedicated to spreading kindness without the need for a specific cause.
Simultaneously, Faith is building a powerful personal brand through Level Up Vibes Events, focused on mastermind workshops for women. Here, she continues to inspire and empower individuals, drawing upon her expertise and experiences to facilitate their personal and professional growth.
In addition to her roles as an author and entrepreneur, Faith is a magnetic force and an inspirational motivational speaker. Her path has shaped her into a compassionate leader who turned her greatest challenges into a sanctuary for thousands. Through both Beverly’s Angels and L.U.V. Events, she is touching the lives of many, contributing to a brighter future for all.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s nothing easy about entrepreneurship—especially when you’re building a nonprofit from scratch. No roadmap. No funding. Just a spark of an idea and a heart full of purpose. She remembers staring at a blank page, wondering how she would bring this vision to life with a zero-based budget. But she’s learned that some of the most powerful movements are born from nothing but passion and persistence.
The “no’s” came quickly—sometimes one after another. But instead of letting them break me, she started asking, why not? And little by little, doors began to open. She became deeply intentional about who she partnered with. She stopped bending herself to fit every opportunity and instead built strong, healthy boundaries. That, in itself, changed everything.
Because when you stop trying to force what’s not meant for you, you create space for the people and partnerships that are. Today, she gives her energy only to what’s aligned—and that has made magic.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Faith Schwalback is an author, nonprofit leader, mastermind mentor, coach, and motivational speaker. She’s the founder of Beverly’s Angels Level Up Vibes Events. Beverly’s Angels is a local charity devoted to providing brand new essentials for the body, the home, and the soul with a focus on supporting women, children and seniors. Level Up Vibes Events curates mastermind events tailored to women seeking to elevate their skills and careers within a like-minded community.
She is most proud of building a brand with integrity—one that makes an impact and stands as a testament to her resilience through countless roadblocks and rejections.
What sets her apart from others is that both of her businesses are personal, curated forms of paying it forward. Beverly’s Angels only gifts new, essential items, never secondhand and customized for each recipient in the colors (or characters for children) that they love. Faith’s mastermind community is intimate and unique based upon each woman’s challenges, concerns and skills – each event is designed to support current issues at hand and find the same thread that is connecting us all.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
She is a product of resilience. Raised by a single mom who, for a time, called a Volkswagen van home, she learned early on how to adapt and survive. When she was 8, she was adopted by the man who she now calls Dad, and with that came a new chapter—but the grit, determination, and resourcefulness she developed in those early years never left her. She also mastered the art of negotiation, not in boardrooms, but in real-life moments where every “yes” felt like a victory.
At 9, she picked up a tennis racket for the first time. The sport quickly became my sanctuary. She loved the competition, the strategy required to set up a winning point, and the self-reliance it demanded—because on that court, it was just her. Tennis taught her how to win with humility and lose with grace.
To this day, she still plays. Each match connects her to the fearless girl she is—the one who finds power in her swing and peace in the rhythm of the game. It’s a beautiful reminder that strength and softness can coexist—and that the child within us still has something to say.
