Today we’d like to introduce you to Ham The Aviator. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Ham The Aviator is a San Fernando Valley, CA-based artist whose brand “Valley On A Wave (VOAW)” has breached the west coast walls into the rest of the world.
Starting from humble beginnings, Ham The Aviator started making music in 2016 and began to take it seriously around 2017-2018.
With his witty lines, unique delivery, and melodic undertones, Ham The Aviator is a brewing force ready to knock down the industry doors.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There have been many, but one that stands out is back in 2017 when I was first getting started, my manager was involved in a drive-by shooting accident that occurred at a venue we were promoting at.
Luckily, he survived but he decided managing wasn’t for him after that.
Since then, I’ve been self-managing myself learning about the ins and outs of the music industry while simultaneously building my VOAW brand.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a music artist, promoter, and event planner. I’m most known for my music which I am very proud of as well.
What sets me apart is my work ethic. I never viewed myself as the most talented, but I do view myself as the most passionate, and that passion is what has fueled my fire to continue to evolve and transcend my talents.
How do you define success?
Success to me is when I can take a seat at the table during Christmas, see my family smiling, and me knowing they’ll be okay after I’m gone from this life.
