Today we’d like to introduce you to Human.
Hi Human, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Yeah, We’ve all had previous history with other bands here and there when we were teenagers.
In 2023 we all met eachother for the first time through Facebook out of pure necessity of wanting to play with like minded musicians again.
We met in person at a rehersal space in Orlando just to jam and run through some covers we all knew (Leper Messiah by Metallica, Strike of the Beast by Exodus, etc.) and it just clicked for us.
As soon as we could, we all pitched in for a dingy storage unit in Lockhart (Florida) where we started putting original songs together immediately. We wanted to take our time to get everything right this go around so we spent the remainder of 2023 and all of 2024 just writing and rehearsing our music.
At the beginning of 2025 we felt we were ready for our first gig. It didn’t take long for us to find one through a central Florida promoter, Reilley Griffin. Our live debut was March 8th in the heart of Orlando at a bar called Uncle Lous. It was a very cathartic experience for us all. It felt like we took just the right amount of time to unleash this thing we had put so much effort into. The crowd couldn’t have been more welcoming to us, which we were extremely grateful for.
Since then we’ve had the pleasure of being invited all over central Florida (Cocoa, Daytona, Melbourne, Ocala, Orlando, Sanford) to do what we love most. We can’t wait to see what the future holds and where this journey will take us.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The most difficult aspect thus far has been having to go the road without our rythym guitarist and brother, Donovan Knight. In july of 2024 he had to move to Texas with his family. Not all bad though as we have been in the process of helping him get back to Florida and rejoin us on this adventure.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our priority as a metal band is giving the listener not only a unique sonic experience but an outlet as well. A thing to latch onto when life is at it’s worst and most difficult. Something that let’s you know you aren’t alone. We play this music as our therapy and that’s what we intend to give the audience. A place to help them forget, even just for a few minutes, about anything that may be bothering them at the time. We want our music to help people understand we’re all struggling together, but we can survive together too.

Orlando is a legendary city. It has an amazing music scene. Anything you could possibly want is here as far as that goes.
Orlando is just the beginning though.
