Today we’d like to introduce you to Isadora Sudati.
Hi Isadora, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstories.
I’m Isa Sudati, a Brazilian girl who works as a streamer and content creator. My life wasn’t always normal. I stayed for a year and a half in the US when I was a teenager, then I came back to Brazil, so I could study, go to college and have a good education. 6 months after I came back, the pandemic started, and I had to start doing something that would help me make some money because my family and I were in a bad financial situation. I started teaching English when I was 17 for kids online. After some months, I began streaming games on Twitch, which led me to grow more and more as a gamer influencer. I got followers and an audience, and that made me even go to Europe to cover a championship for a Brazilian company. I’m a 19-year-old woman who’s in a field that men mainly dominate. Even though the patch isn’t easy, I’ve gained acknowledgment and popularity in the gamer community. This is just a little of my story, but I hope you find it interesting!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Having to deal with famous people who aren’t also that easy, it’s hard to gain people’s respect and have them stop judging and diminishing you because of your gender. I think being a woman in a field where 95% are men is pretty challenging because there are a lot of intern competitions between the backstage people, making it even harder for you to grow and get help from others. There’s a lot more. We can talk through the interview! It’s not because you’re an influencer that you don’t worry about anything; there are a lot of things that we have to deal with
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a professional streamer and content creator. I specialize in CSGO as a prior game in my streams and travel and beauty in my other social media. Being in another country to cover for the biggest CSGO championship as a streamer, I’m pretty sure they were the best. What sets me apart from others is that I’m myself, I’m a very honest, hard worker, and there’s nobody like me and how I see things, so that’s what I have that attracts me more and more. I’m proud to be only 19 and see where I am at, all the achievements I could make in so little time and so young.
What characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to if you had to?
Communication mostly and also, I’m very mature, calm and I know how to deal with difficult situations. Being a good player and also very funny, people intend to follow me!
