Today we’d like to introduce you to Jack Lazinsk
Hi Jack, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
After 18 years of working for Fortune 500 National Home Builders decided it was time to make a change, decided to follow my passion and do something different and become an entrepreneur. My friend Jeff had been building and restoring Chevelles and was working for the City. Together we came up with a business model to become a Classic Car Dealership specializing in 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Muscle Car. We started our business on June 15, 2018 and have seen a large amount of growth especially in the Covid years where customers treated themselves to Classic Muscle Cars during the difficult time of Covid. Today we have 22 Employees a thriving Classic Car Dealership and now a large Service Department that is also available to Classic Car enthusiasts and we occupy 4 Large Buildings just off Story Road in Ocoee, Florida.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the large challenges of selling classic cars is getting them all to be serviced, this is an area we have recently expanded on and got creative with our buildings to allow additional space for this cause. Also as we grew it was always a challenge keeping up with new arrivals and where to park. With our current location we have a lot more room, but with a Classic Car Inventory like ours you can never have enough space. We constantly get the question of how we pack so many cars inside the Showrooms.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in Classic Muscle Cars, we are world famous for our collection of Chevelles and most notably our 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Inventory and Sales. This is one of the most sought after Classic Cars of all time. I would say we are most proud of how we treat our customers despite our rapid growth we are giving excellent customer service to our current and past customers and will continue this for all future customers.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I have always been someone that welcomes coaching and to this day I have a business coach, in addition to receiving business coaching I also provide business coaching to others and am the chapter president of the local BNI Chapter where business networking is the focus, and we have such a great philosophy of Givers Gain.
