I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Working in music business in Brazil is not easy. Lots of challenges along the way.
Especially when we work with a language that is not universal, like Portuguese.
I’ve always tried to look for a differential, working with artists from other countries. especially the American talents.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I started working very early, professionally, in the music market. I was just 15 years old!
I always were very inspired by international pop music from ‘90s and ‘00s.
First, I worked as an artist, releasing my high school band Mr. Jam. The first album was released on a small label and later when we striked a huge hit called Rebola Na Boa, two more albums on Sony Music Brasil.
When the band broke up in the early 2000s, I thought it was time to learn how to produce my own sound and, why not, that of other talents.
So, I officially became a producer, working with artists from major labels in Brazil.
My sound stood out and luckily, I became a reference in production in the Brazilian market.
Any big plans?
It has always been a dream of mine to bring my production company and music label to the United States so I can work and collaborate closely with American talents.
On my recent visit to Orlando, visiting a great friend, – the producer and sound engineer Guilherme Tettamanti, owner of Studio 94 US – I had the idea of definitely coming to live in Florida, bringing my business with me. I love this state and I’m sure the music market and all my clients will love the news!
