Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan Polanco jr.

Hi Juan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Juan Polanco Jr. I was born in the Dominican Republic Feb 27, 1988. Son of immigrant parents came to the United States with one goal in mind; to make my parents proud. We Came to the US when I was 4 years old. Raise in a broken home in Brooklyn, New York in the 90s. I always had a passion for music since I was a little boy but I wasn’t blessed with the artistry talent. As time went by, I develop the skills of hustling & entrepreneurship. Life, most of the time, doesn’t go how we have it planned. I struggle as I grew up with school and anger management and mental health. Growing up in Brooklyn wasn’t easy but I won’t ever change that, music has been therapeutic for me. Life hasn’t been easy. I made mistakes just like any human but I found hope. I have two incredible kids, Nely and Julius. They gave me the fuel to get out of my situation and change my life (still growing).

Jtop Music Group aka JTMG was founded on Feb 5, 2019. The founders are Juan Polanco Jr. and Luis Castaneda Jr., two self-driven motivated individuals combined together to make their dreams start. Our independent label is based out of Miami. JTMG was started with a mission to better our lives and those around us. In the beginning, it has been rough but we know that we have to trust the process and just keep pushing and no matter what hard work does pay off. We have two up new talent up coming artists Youngjay the MVP and Young Lachii. We know that the journey ahead of us is not easy but have in mind that our peers before us, are human just like us. They were here at one point in life. Don’t give up !! They did it so we can too. (Puff daddy, Dame Dash, Bigg, Jimmy Iovine L.A. Reid, Kevin Liles and ghazi from empire and the list goes on. We don’t want to take over we just want to be part of one of the biggest record labels like Sony, def jam, racnation and many more. Our legacy is going to be Great. JTMG aka JTOP MUSIC GROUP “more than music”.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I am the co-founder and CEO of Jtop Music Group.

I manage the company with a mix of business skills and skills particular to the music industry. I determine the general direction of the marketing, the music distribution and other matters.

I specialize in motivating hustling ( pushing my brand ) . What I’m most proud of is the legacy that I’m leaving behind. My legacy is where Others can learn from my mistakes and know that no matter where you come from, no matter your situation you can always make it happen. What sets me apart from others is my drive my motivation and my determination. I’m gonna make this happen no matter what!

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success has so many meanings by to me it’s clear. Not giving up and pushing forward and loving what you do define success for me. And I also have my 5 rules of success.
