Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelley and Brent Farris.
Kelley and Brent, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hello, I am Kelley from Rvlivingandmore and my husband Brent and our dog Roxy are a full time traveling RV couple who mostly stays on Military Bases. My husband is a Disabled Veteran and Medically Retired from the Military. We sold our house in December 2020 to live a life of travel and adventure. My husband and I both work remotely from our RV and love that our house has ever-changing views! We share our adventures, tips and experiences across the US with our online community, follow our journey on Instagram @rvlivingandmore.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
RV living has its challenges, like things breaking such as awnings and cabinets. When you move your RV as much as we do it’s like a mini hurricane inside of your RV every time you move. We have learned some tips and hacks along the way like putting pillows in your fridge so everything stays in place your fridge while you are traveling.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I Kelley am a Human Resource Manager for a company in Maryland and my husband is a network engineer for VA hospitals.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising is I never knew people lived full time in RVs before we took the plunge to live in an RV. I am so glad we did because it’s the best decision we have ever made!
