Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristine Lewis.
Hi Kristine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey really began when I stepped away from my career as a physical therapist in 2020. Like so many people, the pandemic gave me a moment of clarity — I realized I wanted more freedom, impact, and ownership over the way I served others. That led me to launch my own health and life insurance agency.
In the beginning, it was just me at my kitchen table, learning the industry and figuring out how to build something meaningful. I was driven by the desire to make insurance more approachable and personal, especially for families, business owners, and retirees who often feel overwhelmed by the complexities of the process. Over the years, I’ve grown my brokerage into a nationwide agency, helping clients across multiple states. I now not only advise individuals and businesses on health, life, Medicare, and group benefits, but also train and mentor other agents.
Along the way, I’ve expanded into other passions — such as writing my book, Healing Her: Unlearning & Rebuilding from the Inside Out. That project stemmed from my own personal healing journey and my conviction that true success isn’t just about business, but about rebuilding oneself from the inside out.
Today, I get to combine my entrepreneurial drive with my passion for service — whether it’s helping someone find affordable coverage, guiding a team member to advance their career, or writing words that help a woman feel less alone in her healing journey. The path hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has pushed me to build something bigger than myself.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Stepping out of a stable career into entrepreneurship was both exciting and terrifying. In the early days, I had to navigate learning a completely new industry, building systems from scratch, and managing the uncertainty of where my next client would come from.
There were also personal challenges along the way. Like many women, I had to work through patterns of people-pleasing, self-doubt, and the pressure of “holding it all together” while building a business and raising a family. At times, it felt like I was carrying everything alone.
Financially and emotionally, there were moments when I wondered if I had made the right decision. But those struggles became part of my strength. They pushed me to set boundaries, to get comfortable being uncomfortable, and to keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t clear.
Looking back, the road may not have been smooth, but it has been worth it. Every obstacle sharpened my skills and reminded me why I chose this journey in the first place — to create freedom, serve others, and build a life and business that align with my values.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the owner of Insurance Corp, a nationwide health and life insurance brokerage I built on the belief that insurance should feel personal, not overwhelming. I specialize in simplifying complex benefits and guiding clients with empathy so families and business owners can feel confident and protected.
But my work doesn’t stop there. I’m also the author of Healing Her: Unlearning & Rebuilding from the Inside Out, a soul-stirring book that helps women set boundaries, release old patterns, and step into their own strength. It was recently released and is now available on Amazon. Find it here: Healing Her on Amazon

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve been able to bring both sides of my life together, business and healing. Whether I’m helping a client secure insurance or writing words that remind women they’re not alone, my mission is the same: to empower others with clarity, confidence, and hope.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that boundaries are not walls — they’re bridges to peace. For so long, I thought success meant saying yes to everything and everyone, even at the cost of myself. But I’ve realized that true growth comes when you protect your energy, your time, and your values.
That lesson changed the way I run my business and the way I live my life. It’s what allowed me to build an agency that works for me instead of consuming me, and it’s what inspired me to write Healing Her. I wanted to give other women permission to release the weight of expectations and rebuild on their own terms.
At the end of the day, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about building a business or writing a book — it’s about creating a life where you’re aligned, present, and proud of who you’re becoming.
