Today we’d like to introduce you to Krysta Sands.
Hi Krysta, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
In 2019, I graduated from Nurse Practitioner school after working 6 years as an RN at the bedside. I started working for a company that sent me on travel assignments performing Comp and Pension evaluations. In September 2021, I went on an assignment in Sarasota, Fl where I was supposed to see patients in an office with support staff; however, this turned out to not be the case and I was told there would be no staff with me at all due to unexpected circumstances.
I had the option to return home or work the office alone. I negotiated a higher pay for that assignment and decided to stay. During that assignment, I checked clients in and had to create a way to help the days flow seamlessly while still performing my Nurse Practitioner duties.
That was the week I decided to open a business and birthed Enthuse Health, PLLC. I have always been a determined individual as I knew I wanted to be a Nurse from the age of 6. In my mind, anything you desire is achievable and everything is possible through determination and being exceptionally resourceful.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being in business has not been a smooth road. There are so many challenges that I have faced; however, I can say a lot of them were in the beginning from gathering clientele and finances.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Nurse Practitioner and I specialize in Occupational Health. I am known for my knowledge and superior customer service. I am most proud of getting to this place in my life to be able to be a business owner and be a good role model for my daughter. What sets me apart from others is my value of ethics, respect for others, resourcefulness, innovative mind, and joyful spirit.
What’s next?
My plans for the future are to achieve my certification and doctorate as an Occupational Nurse Practitioner. I want to add a few more letters behind my name. I plan to lead in my specialty.
