Today we’d like to introduce you to Luke Beaulac.
Hi Luke, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Opened my first commercial recording studio back in Canada in 2001. I ran that studio until 2010 when I decided to move to Orlando. That’s when I built Evermore Sound from the ground up. This was an empty warehouse with 4 cinder block walls. It took about a year to get everything completely built; a lot of new equipment was purchased as well including the Neve console that is the centerpiece of the A room.
Today we have two more rooms where we do smaller projects as well as voiceovers.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As a Canadian, it was a bit of a struggle to get my work visa initially, but once that was resolved, things started falling into place. Of course, starting a brand-new studio wasn’t easy, it took a while to make a name for myself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I started out as a guitar player when I was 12 years old. I started recording my bands when I was 16, and continually progressed, eventually building my first home studio back in 2000. Then went on to build my first commercial studio in 2003.
I have since concentrated my efforts on recording, mixing and production.
I am proud of the reputation of producing quality music that Evermore Sound has.
My idea of producing is to listen to our clients, and to try and achieve their vision.
Any big plans?
In fact, we have recently expanded and added 2 rooms, where we do mainly vocal oriented projects. In these smaller rooms, we can afford to give clients on a budget an opportunity to record in a professional studio.
This has been working out quite well.
