Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyndsey Vanpool.
Lyndsey, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey began in 2015 when I started school for a course through UCF online for a wedding and event planning certification. The certification only took a year and it was completely online. Once I finished the program I moved to Atlanta and did an internship as an event planner! I soon realized Florida was home and moved back! I started pushing my business and started getting booked for balloon designs! I became a certified balloon artist in 2019 and that’s when things really took off! Since 2019 I’ve been blessed to work for myself full time and go from doing only balloons to planning my clients entire events for them start to finish! I now have an office and warehouse where we work and store our rental items also! We’ve had our location now 4 years and truly enjoy what we do!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The path has not always been smooth! When I first started I didn’t know where to start or what to charge, I didn’t know the right ways to transport balloons, I didn’t have a vehicle big enough for what I needed at one point but over time I learned from experience! I also reached out to others in the industry longer than me for help and guidance. Still to this day there are struggles but I face them head on and God gets me through!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in Bri going my clients Dream events to Reality! We design, decorated and help plan or bring in other vendors for everything needed to create an experience! I am so proud that I’ve been in business full time for 5 years now and have replaced my job with working for myself! I am definitely proud of the name I’ve built in my community from giving back and creating excellent work along with great customer service. I think my passion and eye for detail sets me apart!
What matters most to you? Why?
My family! I have an amazing fiancé with 4 bonus children that I’ve been blessed to help raise and they are my life! My oldest son helps with my set ups and so do the middle kids from time to time they know work ethic and hard work! My little one is autistic and hopefully I can create a job for him one day or help him pursue his passions like I’ve been blessed to ! Family is everything!
