Maria Angelica Adrianzen

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I came to the United States when I was eighteen. I studied Theater at the University of Central Florida, and while I was still studying, I started working at Universal Studios helping with the production of the shows. I worked about three years in that company, and then I left to start working in a company that specialized in the production of Events in Orlando. Since that moment, I realized that I loved the the production side of entertainment industry. After I graduated, I worked as a producer and actress. I’ve participated in commercials, plays, reality shows and short films. Throughout the years, I’ve learned that I love being so artistic and now I also teach others artists how to grow in the entertainment industry. I manage other actors careers, promote their amazing work, and I’m also working towards making my own production and management company

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I came to United States, the first challenge I faced was my language. Even though I was prepared for the cultural change and I took professional English classes, it was very hard for me to talk and have a regular conversation in English. Also my accent has always been strong, so when I graduated from College, it and I started looking for roles so I can get acting experience, I used to get only Spanish roles, so I didn’t have too many opportunities on that aspect. It was a difficult process, but I’m very glad I didn’t quit and just improved what I needed to improve.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a an actress, producer, model, film marketer and talent manager. I work in conventions promoting brands through modeling, in commercials and social media ads. I also help actors to audition and land jobs. I have participated in some reality shows. One of the projects I’m more proud of is Beast Games, the reality show created by MrBeast were I participated as a contestant with the number 269. And I’m also very proud of my continuous support to the film industry in Florida, since now I’m working in film marketing through social media for local productions

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I’ve learned that it’s very important to make connections and create your own opportunities because not all the time people is going to give you the chance that you want.
