Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Melina Kubrusly.
I’m 31 years old, married, a mother of two girls, and passionate about creation and design forever. I couldn’t have chosen a different career for myself. I have a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Fortaleza. I have been an interior specialist for over ten years, of which three years have been entirely dedicated to the American market in Florida.
Architecture is an achievement, and interior design is my great passion. The challenge of enchanting the client in every detail of the project created, from the first contact to the final delivery, is my mission.
Every project is unique. They have the essence and personality of each client! Knowing stories, multiplying ideas, and understanding routines and the dynamics of each family make me know my purpose and the next steps in my career. I love delivering dreams! A house that looks like a home, you know? It’s what I believe!
I always remember my first clients and their challenges. There are already many projects carried out. Today I feel fulfilled after many dreams designed and delivered! I keep designing, creating, imagining, contemplating, and promoting the best I can do in Orlando or anywhere in the world.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t easy to get here! I could say that it was to make the story more glamorous… But the truth is, it was hard. Being an immigrant and exercising the profession we brought with us is not easy for anyone.
Inches instead of meters, English versus Portuguese, I had to be resilient to adapt to everything here! There was a doubt whether I would exercise or not, because of the routine. But I never wanted anything else, and it’s been rewarding.

I’m specialized in interior design for residential projects. I love to deliver dreams, I’m so grateful for doing that.
Style, personality, and colors make the projects very unique.
Who else deserves credit for your story?
I believe that everyone who went through my trajectory has a special place and added a lot. But God is my great encourager and guide, HE brings me everything that I need.
