Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachael Pierre-Louis.
Rachael, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was always taught to have a solid education and something to fall back on therefore my primary goal after high school was to finish college and find a good career.
After being in the workforce for quite some time and obtaining my master’s degree, I became fixated on being an employer rather than an employee. I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to accomplish that, but I knew one day I would. I’ve always been known as “The Queen of Life-Multitasking” because, in conjunction with having children and receiving my education, I always had some form of small business and investments on the side.
In 2011, I started an online clothing boutique and I fell in love with e-commerce at that time.
By 2013, my husband and I decided that we wanted to embark on flipping and renting out homes. We had initially became homeowners in 2005 at a very young age and going through that process taught us a lot about the real estate world. Where we knew we did not want to be realtors at the time we were heavily fixated on becoming investors. Since then, we have owned multiple homes that serve as rental properties.
In 2020, I started a small business Sea Moss Healthy LLC, selling sea moss gel. It was never imagined to that as big as it is today, but I am so grateful. This business started out as word of mouth, then shifted to a simple e-commerce website, and is now doing wonders on amazon.com.
My success with Sea Moss Healthy LLC solidified my decision to retire from the workforce at the age of 38 and become a full-blown entrepreneur. I recently bought info on my first franchise, Remedy Salon Suites Kissimmee, which is slated to open this year.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Fortunately, I can say the road has been pretty smooth for me, and I feel beyond blessed.
Although I have experienced struggles and barriers along the way, they are nothing to gripe about in comparison to what I have seen people go through. Complaining makes me uncomfortable, therefore I channel that energy into my gratitude.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

How do you define success?
I view success as tailor-made. To me, success is defined by how well an individual achieves their customized goal.
