Hi Rachel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My love for travel and exploring new destinations began in childhood, fueling my decision to join a travel agency over seven years ago. By 2021, I was ready to take the next step, and alongside my dear friend Maria Meyer, I co-founded Magical Pursuits, a luxury travel planning company. While we started with a focus on Disney vacations, our offerings quickly grew to include Universal Studios, cruises, international adventures, safaris, and more. Today, with a skilled team of planners, our mission is clear: to provide luxury travel experiences to the world’s most magical destinations, helping our clients create unforgettable memories with their loved ones.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Launching Magical Pursuits in 2021 came with unique challenges, as the travel industry was still finding its footing after the impacts of COVID-19. What initially felt like a slow start turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The downtime allowed us to focus on building a strong foundation for our brand, developing essential resources, and curating high-quality travel materials. This period of growth set the stage for us to provide exceptional, tailored experiences as travel rebounded.

At Magical Pursuits, we offer comprehensive vacation planning services designed to take the stress out of travel. From securing lodging and dining reservations to walking clients through Lightning Lane strategies and booking key experiences, we handle every detail. Before their trip, our clients receive a customized guide and itinerary, which we review together to ensure everything is perfect. Our team is available to assist before, during, and after their vacation, providing seamless support every step of the way.
