Daily Inspiration: Meet Randy Nunoo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Randy Nunoo.

Randy Nunoo

Hi Randy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The inception of Niiash stemmed from a love and passion for fashion. Having been born in Africa, I noticed the current state of African fashion in America and aspired to make a difference. This led to the fusion of African fabrics with contemporary styles.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been far from smooth, but it has been an enjoyable and enlightening experience. As an entrepreneur, one of the most significant lessons we’ve learned is that failure is a positive experience. It provides an opportunity to learn and avoid repeating mistakes.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Here at Niiash (Knee-Ash), we take pride in designing every piece of clothing and accessory that we offer. Our unique approach sets us apart, as we travel to Ghana to personally select fabrics and work closely with our master tailor and seamstress to craft high-quality garments. We derive great satisfaction from creating a sample piece, making adjustments, and seeing the final result, which allows us to provide detailed information about our products. At Niiash Fashion, our goal is to be recognized for our distinctive approach and commitment to delivering personalized, exclusive items.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
The Fashion!! As a Ghanaian, your attire was always stylish. Our fashion has been consistently impressive over the years, and it has had a profound impact on my personal growth, leading me to where I am now, proud.
