Daily Inspiration: Meet Rosario Aybar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosario Aybar.

Hi Rosario, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Since I was a little girl always enjoyed everything about beauty as I grew up became more interested and when I came to USA my dream to be an Esthetician came thru. Opened my 1st Spa in 2005 but after recession, I lost everything I had. As a single mother with no family In this country and the economy struggling had to get two jobs not related with the skincare area but in the medical field. That was meaning keeping away from my dream. I decided to continue doing skincare on weekends in a small room rented in a salon to continue being in the field. The money I was getting in two days working as SK Specialist wasn’t enough to pay for advance training. I went to the college to get an MBA bachelor’s degree. After I finished, requested a loan just to be more prepared taking as many possible advanced classes in the Skin Care area to reopen my business again, which I did. Now my son is already in college, I am a full-time Esthetician with my own small business.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The biggest struggles was being a single mother and trying to cover all the areas as working two jobs for a steady check and many times using the money from my other jobs to buy my supplies and products. I was also a mom of a traveler basketball player. Was unhappy all the time because I wasn’t doing full-time what I love the most professional speaking. So it’s not being easy but my clients since 2015 still following me and supporting my work and that is the satisfaction that keeps me going and loving my career more every day.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As Esthetician, I am specialized in facial rejuvenation, acne, post-surgery treatments and body sculpting. What makes me more proud is that I walk the extra mile for my clients always and all my treatments are personalized and customized. My Spa is a place where you come to be well treated, with caring and satisfied not only as a clients but as a human being that makes me completely different.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I took the risk to be working by myself even when the economy is struggling decided to keep affordable prices because I believe that a lot of people is looking to have a healthy skin in natural ways without breaking their pocket.
