Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Tavarez.
Samantha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have lived in Central Florida my entire life and have worked mostly in hospitality, which is where I met my husband and business partner, Brian. Our ride with the pandemic pandemonium happened pretty quickly, Brian lost his long-standing job at a local resort the same week my mother, for whom I was helping take care of, passed away. With having two young children, we were looking to get back into hospitality while being able to care for our family. We always wanted to start an event business and while researching ideas, I came across the wedding of James “Murr” Murray from Impractical Jokers where he had an all-white bounce house at his wedding. Having non-traditional elements in our own wedding, I knew that if this was around when we got married that I would’ve booked something like this immediately! Once we saw the modern bounce houses take off in other larger markets, we knew we had to bring it to Central Florida! We have been in business a few months now and are incredibly appreciative to the families of Central Florida who continue to allow us to be a part of such special days and memories!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Initially investing into this business was a challenge in itself; something with such unknown variables was so nerve-racking. Of course everyone was used to traditional bounce houses but we were apprehensive about if people would be receptive to the trend. Luckily our community loved what we were offering and were able to order more bounce houses. Some of our inventory was also delayed due to COVID related issues and dealing with logistics was something we had to learn to go with the ebb and flow of. The hurdle we currently have to overcome is space, with our growing inventory we will need to transition our headquarters out of our garage soon!

Air Affair Bounce House Co. offers modern bounce houses for children and adults. We are the proudest of Orange Blossom, our all-white double slide and bounce house combo; in which my husband designed and is the first of its kind! We are extremely delighted to be Central Florida’s premier modern bounce house company and to have garnered relationships with other amazing vendors along the way. We are eager to grow in our community and can’t wait to bring more memorable moments to Central Florida families!
