As I felon it was hard to get a job . I was working a lot of temp service jobs to make ends meet and one day my ex gf said ” you should do tattoos ” she brought me a tattoo kit and let me practice on her . It’s been up since ,
.
Finding a mentor was so hard .at the time . I had a friend who brother did tattoos and she put us together . After my apprenticeship with him . I left and opened my own shop . Went to school to get my tattoo license and linked up with yo-yo . It’s been a journey but the goal is to keep pushing . You get what you give , stay grounded . Don’t focus on no one else success , be the best you you can be
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s always struggles . Going to school I lost all my artist at the shop at one point . We’ve had to relocate multiple times . I lost my business partners along the way . Investments go wrong and sometime life start life’n .
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I go by Fooliieeinks, I’m a tattoo artist . I have a shop on edgewater drive called The Trap Studios . The Hood Evolution To Rose Above Poverty.
