Daily Inspiration: Meet Stephanie Cardona

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Cardona.

Stephanie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My professional journey began as a notary public, where I developed a passion for helping individuals and families navigate important legal and personal documents with trust and care. In 2019, a life-changing experience deeply reshaped my perspective. After a near-death experience, I realized I didn’t have any financial protection or plans in place for my children. That moment was a turning point it made me recognize the importance of preparation and financial security.

Growing up, I was taught to work hard, rely on a 9-to-5 job, and count on a 401(k) for retirement. However, I came to understand that true stability requires more than that it requires knowledge, planning, and protection. This realization inspired me to become a licensed insurance broker so I could help others avoid the same uncertainty I once faced

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When I started out, I didn’t have anyone guiding me. I had to figure things out on my own while trying to build a business and take care of my family. After my near-death experience in 2019, life looked completely different. I had to rebuild from the ground up mentally, emotionally, and financially. There were moments I wanted to give up, but my children and my purpose kept me going.

A major turning point for me was the support of my boyfriend. He truly believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and he pushed me to keep going. He not only encouraged me but also invested in me, especially when it came to marketing and growing my business. In today’s world, social media and digital marketing are key to getting your business out there, and his faith in me helped me step out of my comfort zone and reach more people.

Transitioning from being a notary to becoming an insurance broker took a lot of dedication and faith. It wasn’t easy, but every obstacle taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of believing in yourself—and surrounding yourself with people who believe in you too. Looking back, those challenges and the people who stood by me are what made me stronger and more passionate about helping others protect what matters most.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m both a Notary Public and a licensed Insurance Broker. In my notary work, I help clients with important documents such as real estate closings, business forms, affidavits, and other personal paperwork. My goal has always been to make the process smooth, professional, and stress-free for every client.

As an Insurance Broker, I specialize in helping individuals and families protect what matters most. I focus on life insurance, health coverage, and financial protection plans that give people peace of mind and security for their future. What truly drives me is knowing I’m helping others avoid the uncertainty I once faced. I take pride in educating my clients so they can make informed decisions that truly fit their needs.

What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients. They know I genuinely care about their well-being and that I’m here to guide them, not just sell a service. My relationships are built on honesty, compassion, and understanding and that’s something I value deeply.

What makes me stand out is my dedication to continuous education and embracing new technology. I believe learning never stops, and staying up to date allows me to better serve my clients. I also became certified as a Remote Online Notary, which gives my clients the flexibility to complete their notary needs anytime, anywhere. In today’s fast-paced world, that convenience and accessibility make a real difference.

At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to help people feel informed, protected, and confident about their future while delivering the kind of service that makes them feel seen, heard, and valued

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
To be honest, I didn’t really have a childhood the way most people think of it. I entered the foster care system at the age of nine and was adopted at twelve. Those years were difficult, and I didn’t have many happy memories growing up. But looking back now, I realize those experiences shaped me into the person I am today.
