Hi Tania, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Years ago, when my kids were little, I discovered a passion that would fill my heart with joy and transform ordinary moments into something extraordinary. Every birthday, every milestone, was not just an event—it was an opportunity for me to be creative, to celebrate with a flair that would leave lasting memories. Little did I know that this passion for decorating with balloons would grow into something far bigger than I ever imagined.
As a mom, I wanted to make each of my children’s birthdays a magical experience. Balloons became my go-to medium for that magic. From the simplest clusters to elaborate arches and figures, I used them to breathe life into every occasion. I loved how balloons could instantly brighten up a space, turning even the humblest room into something vibrant and festive. Watching my kids’ faces light up as their parties transformed into whimsical wonderlands made me realize that this was more than just a hobby—it was my passion.
Balloons have brought me happiness, and it’s that same happiness that I aim to share with others. Through my work, I hope to inspire joy, ignite imaginations, and create an atmosphere where every occasion feels extraordinary. Because at the heart of every celebration, there’s a little bit of magic, and it often begins with a balloon.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has not always been easy, but it has been filled with growth and healing. After the passing of my husband, I found comfort and solace in working with balloons. It became a way for me to channel my emotions and distract my mind, allowing me to pour my energy into creating something beautiful. Over time, this passion blossomed into something more than just a hobby—it became a source of joy and a way to connect with others.
Along the way, I have been incredibly blessed to meet so many wonderful colleagues and friends in this business. Their support, kindness, and shared love for balloon décor have been a bright light in my life. I’m grateful for the community I’ve found, and it’s truly been a blessing to grow together in this creative journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have had the privilege of working as a pharmacist for 24 years, and throughout my career, my passion has always been to help others by applying my scientific knowledge. Whether it’s guiding patients toward better health or offering support in various ways, the core of my work has always been rooted in service to others.
Outside of my pharmacy career, I have developed a deep interest in the art of balloon décor. I continually strive to expand my skills by learning the latest techniques and trends in the industry. Most recently, I proudly graduated as a Professional Balloon Designer from the Decolover Institute, where I gained invaluable knowledge and expertise. Balancing both of my passions has been an exciting and fulfilling journey, and I am excited to bring creativity and joy to others through the art of balloon décor.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was naturally more introverted, often preferring the comfort of a small, close-knit circle of friends rather than large social gatherings. One of my greatest passions was sports. Cycling, volleyball, and other physical activities provided an outlet for me to channel my energy in a positive way. Cycling allowed me the freedom to explore and clear my mind.
