Hi Taniya, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a self taught braided or started braiding at the age of 13. Over the years, I’ve developed a true passion for helping others feel great after receiving my hair services. I take great pride in the art of braiding and find joy in meeting new people along my journey, learning about their stories, and connecting with them on a personal level. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that I can make a positive impact on someone’s day through my work. I feel truly blessed to have this talent, and I’m grateful for the opportunities it continues to provide.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Braiding has overall been a smooth roll and I am truly grateful for that because everything usually has struggles but luckily I have yet to run across any!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I provide a variety of hair services, with a special focus on braids. Braiding has always been my true passion, and it’s where I’ve honed my skills the most. I’m known for my unique, creative approach to braiding, whether it’s intricate designs or classic styles, always with a personalized touch for each client. What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come and my persistence in never giving up on myself. The journey hasn’t always been easy, especially with the constant changes in trends, but my love for the craft keeps me motivated. What sets me apart is my artistic nature and optimistic mindset, combined with the determination to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges. It’s this balance of creativity and drive that allows me to stand out in the industry.
