Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiffany Couture

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Couture.

Hi Tiffany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in Houston Texas to a single African American woman and given up for adoption at birth She was a young mother of 4 children that could not raise them all.

I was then adopted by a Caucasian Vermont couple who could not give birth to children.

I was welcomed to a loving devoted country family. Who owned a family business boarding and training horses

I learned to ride and I began showing horses at a very young age. I worked very hard at it as it was a strong passion.

I’m a hard worker, perfectionist, and go-getter. When I want something, I work until I accomplished it.

I graduated from high school and achieved a degree in college.

My parents always taught me what they could of my heritage and made me proud to be a strong black woman.

Even to follow my dreams and talents as a singer-songwriter

They encouraged me to write my songs and create my own EP (5 songs) in 2016. Today I live in Orlando, I moved here in 2018. I’m working on becoming a successful fashion model/ influencer, still pursuing my music and working 40 hours to pay the bills in the meantime. I’m determined to be successful.

Still working on finding that special someone to share my life with but that’s second to my career at the moment.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I grew up in a predominantly white community. Only about 4 other African American students. It was hard growing up being different from everyone. I was picked on for not being white and I heavier set. But I managed to make it through and diversity was one of the biggest reasons for moving to Orlando. Also, while working on my album in 2016, I lost my #1 fan, my father to a lifelong illness. I grew up valuing life and accepting our difference watching my father battle and live a full life with Cystic Fibrosis

He had a double lung transplant when I was only 4 yrs. old and then received a kidney from my aunt his sister in 2006

He was in and out of the hospital all my life and taught me to never take anything for granted, a long life is not guaranteed.

My mother was his caregiver but still always there for me as well

As a family we helped many foster children get on the right track to a better life as well

With these challenges also came financial challenges.

But mom and dad always did their best to provide me with the things I wanted

But the best thing they gave me was a secure family, home, and life

Allowing me to follow all my passions (music, fashion, and independence in my career)

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an upcoming influencer and model I take photos to post on Instagram for various companies and brands. I have an eye for detail and good at selling products. As I also do that in my day job. I’m continuing to keep my voice active and looking for possible gigs in the near future. While also working on finding a songwriter to assist me in writing more songs to create another album or Ep. I’m really focused on becoming successful!
