Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Isenhour.
Hi Tony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In the early 2000’s I was in a country band named Sandstone that lasted for 12 years. We had a top 40 song in the beginning named “The Easy Part”. Then after a few years, we disbanded.
Then I opened up my small business and kept the name SandStone and added Entertainment Inc. That was back around 2014. This company was created for the entertainment that opened the Artegon Marketplace. From there, I stayed with them almost their whole run as Artegon. Bringing in all types of entertainment from Jugglers, Plate Spinners, and more.
From there, I moved over with their general manager to Old Town, USA and have been with them ever since for about six years. Slowly increasing our performers line up. While also doing some private corporate shows in between. While also adding Karaoke to our Umbrella. We recently started our Social Media pages and are trying to grow our audience more through it.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well, the most recent was the great pandemic that we all went through recently. But even before then. We have had creative differences with different employers and the direction we should go with our entertainment lineup. Then building a better footprint through social media. That’s why we recently hired a Social Media Manager to run it and we are starting to really grow. We’ve also had our own section on the ASimpleEmber.com website. Where they write about many of our wonderful talented performers.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Being an entertainer myself and still working with other entertainers. It’s great to be able to understand what my performers and guests need. Having severed that disconnect that most companies have with their employees/performers is not here.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
The thriving diversity, entertainment, and great eateries to explore and enjoy. It’s extremely difficult to do it all in such a short time if your visiting. And even if your a local. It’s still a big undertaking to do.
