Hi Ty, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started DJing in New York City! In 2020, After moving to Florida, Bows & Ty’s was born. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of DJing over 60 weddings and celebrate special events all over Florida. It is truly been a blast! Now I’ve grown to offer an open air, professional quality DSLR Photo Booth!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
DJing and emceeing is the fun and easy for me. Meeting and working with clients is one of the best parts! Moving to a new area has its challenges. I had to start over with venue and vendor relationships. I needed build a reputation amongst central Florida.
Now that I’ve worked with so many venues and vendors, it’s been a lot easier. I now have great relationships with them and can call some of them friends.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in high energy, enthusiastic, and engaging interactions with party goers. I’m known for having an impeccable playlist, elevating a party to its max!
The most proud of my work ethic. Planning an event takes a lot of time, patience, and money. Some party guests travel from across the country or around the world. My goal is to make sure everyone is able to have a fun and stress free time to remember. They deserve it!
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lessons that I’ve learned are beyond that. There are many hand books on opening a small business, but no lessons teach better than the ones life offers. Registering for an LLC., creating a website, social media marketing, graphic design, contracts, invoices, etc. and all the fees that come with it.
It comes down to the question, “how bad do I want ?” with every challenge. The lesson learned, it is worth it in the end!
