Conversations with Travon Foreman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Travon Foreman.

Hi Travon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Travon D. Foreman the D is for “DeVine.” I started off as a leasing specialist at the age of 18 in Gainesville. After a few years, I was promoted to resident relations manager, then leasing manager, then assistant community manager. Where I started to learn more about developments, budgeting, ROI, etc. All the tools needed to see a successful quarterly return for the investors. I then quickly understood after I was promoted to oversee all the financials for several communities the company I worked for owned. That finical freedom is in ownership and investing.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s has not been a smooth road. Especially during the pandemic, I was uncertain how things would turn out. People stopped paying rent, others held off touring homes/communities. I personally struggled deciding if I should go into Real estate full time because of this

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am what I call a Vip estate servicer. I specializes in making bring a true VIP experience throughout your real estate transition – everyone deserves a “DeVine Experience.” I am known for being out the fun, free, and enjoyment in others I cross paths with, rather it be through business or personal relationships. I believe everyone should live in and find their divinity. I’m most proud of being an individual who was raised in Opa-Locka, Florida, and fought to learn and grow as an individual. To recognize that there’s more to the world, there’s more to people, and that you can be successful without having to compromise your freedom, respect, dignity, and values for money or opportunity. What sets me apart is that I see and believe in the powers that we have as individuals do it is my responsibility to help bring that light out and guide you to your ultimate goals.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In 5 years, I see myself having a strong team 5 tackling all sectors of real estate. I also see myself investing into my first multi-unit community.
