Today we’d like to introduce you to Yonnette Forde and Andre Young.
Hi Yonnette and Andre, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I (Yonnette Forde) bought my home, I had a great Realtor who supported me through every step of the process. It was during that time that I became interested in looking at various homes and creating an experience that was simplified and beneficial for others. My fiancé, Andre, has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. He owns a cleaning company, Two mops, one broom, that services various areas in South Florida, central Florida, and multiple places in north Florida. In looking for his next venture, Andre became interested in real estate and began to read and educate himself on various ways to be successful in the real estate industry.
His interest and entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with my previous personal experience and love for beautiful homes, led us to pursue real estate as a team. We branded ourselves the “Young Forward Thinking” team. We chose this to be our brand because not only is it a combination of our last names, it is a testament to our personal goals and views. We are constantly planning and working towards building a future for ourselves but also creating generational wealth for our families.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I think anyone that works in real estate can attest to the amount of work and constant advertising that goes into the business. I will not say that the road wasn’t smooth, but it is definitely constant work when building a brand. That is when having a partner really works out to be a benefit. Between the two of us, we are able to be available around the clock. I always start my day early in the morning and Andre is up until late at night. So between the two of us, we are constantly working on new content, new advertisements and promotions, and various marketing strategies.
As you know, we’re big fans of Young Forward Thinking. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are real estate agents that provide services in the central Florida area, including Longwood, Lake Mary, Sanford, Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Winter Park, and Orlando. We currently specialize in residential properties and are currently in the process of branching out to include commercial properties as well. One thing that sets us apart is our availability. Since we are a team, we are able to make ourselves available during a wide variety of times. Between the two of us, we are able to respond to calls, texts, and emails quickly and we are able to be a constant resource to our clients.
We are proud of the amount of knowledge and information that we’ve gained and are able to share with our clients and we are excited about the many doors this venture will open for us in the future.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
The most important thing to us is making sure that we are able to provide our clients with a simple and informative process. We understand the stress and emotions that are often involved with buying a new home or selling a home that one has lived in and created memories in. Our goal is always to be mindful of the feelings and emotions involved in the process while helping to navigate through the home buying/selling process.
