Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Redler and his team. Below they share their story with us:
PowerHouse Maintenance was founded by two friends with a dream. Powerhouse is a high-end residential and commercial window cleaning company based out of Orlando, Florida. Back when Aaron was in high school, he was offered a position at a window cleaning company owned by a family friend. The owner was willing to take Aaron under his wing and teach him the ins and outs of the industry. After a year or so of working for ClearView, Aaron along with Justin, co-owner of PowerHouse, moved to Central Florida to pursue a Business Marketing degree and create the service-based business they’ve always envisioned. “Like most service companies, we started with boots on the ground.” Aaron and Justin would go face-to-face handing out door-hangers throughout neighborhoods from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, seven days a week. These two determined college kids were set on building a service-based business that provides exceptional quality and customer experience to property owners in Central Florida.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like anything in life, PowerHouse has had its ups and downs. We thank each and every down that we’ve been through for its ability to teach us valuable lessons. At the beginning of our journey, thankfully COVID was finally calming down. However, people were still more than hesitant to have interactions with others. This made the classic door-to-door method not an option for Justin and Aaron. Gratefully, they were still able to gain some momentum using door hangers. Through ups and downs, they always remind themselves that when there’s a will, there’s a way!
As you know, we’re big fans of PowerHouse Maintenance. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Our philosophy is very simple and effective. There are hundreds of service companies that can meet your expectations. That’s not impressive; it’s expected. Here at PowerHouse, our objective is to exceed your expectations and provide high-end window cleaning services, that’s our craft! Our team is fully committed and will be giving back to the community throughout the entire lifespan of the company. In fact, during the month of September, PowerHouse will donate 15% of all revenue to St. Jude Research Hospitals. Aaron always says, “Nothing will feel more accomplishing than helping young kids fight the battle of cancer.”
PowerHouse has constructed a list of unique ways they will positively and continuously impact the community.
Here’s one of them:
1: Provide a “neighbor in need” with a bucket, squeegee, scrubber, and rags. This way they can get “off their feet,” by having the proper tools for cleaning storefront windows. They have major plans for this one.
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
Aaron and Justin have two MAIN goals that are above all others:
1. They wish for clients to feel like they are the king and queen of their castle. Homeowners will not only feel a sense of luxury when their property is being serviced but believe they’ve done their fair share of goodwill. Most affluent people would love to contribute to society and do charitable things for the community, but they are unfamiliar with the start-up process. PowerHouse takes action for their clients, leaving a client’s property with a feeling not only of cleanliness but especially wholeness.
2. Aaron and Justin want team members to feel as luxurious as our customers. At some point, PowerHouse Vans will be equipped with fridges for cold hydration drinks and team members will be earning six figures. Aaron and Justin are determined to turn their dream into a reality.
