Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Jones.
Hi Andrew, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
When I was younger, I would go to the car wash with my mom and never be satisfied with how her car looked. So, I started detailing my mom’s car and then her friends would want me to clean their vehicles too. Because I was young, I wouldn’t charge I would clean cars for free because I liked the outcome. At that point detailing became my passion. Now, as an adult, I was able to start my own mobile detailing business in 2019 (313 Suds Mobile Detailing LLC). I am originally from Detroit, Michigan, and the area code there is 313. I was trying to bring a little Midwest to FL because Detroit is a city of hand-detailed car washing. Since 2019 my business has grown tremendously, I have my wife (Stacie) as the manager and I have 3 additional employees 1 social media marketer and 3 field employees.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road, I struggled with getting the business started. One thing I never knew was how much money it took to start and maintain a business. So, with that being said finances were definitely my biggest struggle. Also, I struggled with marketing and letting people know I had my own business. But, I had so much support from family and friends so my business initially started growing through word of mouth.

313 Suds Mobile Detailing LLC is a mobile hand-detailed car wash company servicing Orlando and surrounding areas. We are known for our exceptional customer service and great interior cleaning. I believe we are different from others because we have our own water and electricity and we also are one of the only detailers in Orlando that has monthly packages. Also, we are known for our competitive pricing. The biggest thing is at in the middle of 2022 we started offering Pressure Washing Services. Everyone is happy with a clean house and car. Within my brand I am the proudest of my marketing team, we have worked really hard and still working to promote what we do best. I want everyone to be on the lookout for our mobile pull-up we will be having in March (the location will be announced). We just want everyone to come out have a good time and get their car cleaned.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe customer service is a quality characteristic because it is the way to keep customers happy and also pleased with our work. Customer service is also very important because ratings and reviews are what keep businesses flowing and new customers coming. Niceness and a smile go a long way.
