Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been anything but smooth. Growing up with instability and limited resources created many barriers early on — from self-doubt to a lack of access and support. Later in life, balancing multiple leadership roles and initiatives came with its own challenges — long nights, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty. But I’ve learned that purpose often comes through pressure.

Every challenge has helped me grow stronger, more empathetic, and more intentional about the work I do. It taught me that real change requires not just vision, but endurance and community. The obstacles reminded me why I do this work — to create opportunities for others who are still trying to find their way out of similar circumstances.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Fatherhood Way / Navigate Inc.?

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my most defining memories was moving to Tallahassee for college. For the first time, I had to stand on my own — no safety nets, no familiar faces, just opportunity and responsibility waiting for me to rise to the moment. That experience forced me to grow in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of self-discovery.

Stepping outside of my community opened my eyes to the wider world — to new perspectives, diverse people, and endless possibilities. It was there that I realized how much potential exists when you embrace discomfort and lean into growth. That chapter shaped the foundation of who I am today — a leader committed to helping others expand their horizons and unlock what’s possible beyond their circumstances.
